• Signs of Spring  (Kindergarten – Grade 2) It is that time of year when signs of spring are starting to show themselves all around us. Children love to get outside and explore. The goal of these activities is to get kids exploring the world around them and identifying treasures hidden in plain sight – treasures that can be used for learning! • Together Is my Favourite Place to Be  (Kindergarten – Grade 2) A young child flourishes when they are with the people they love. Spending more time with family and loved ones provides opportunities to share and enjoy new experiences together. This package includes activities that will help your family grow together. • Stories Are for Sharing (Grades 3-5) Storytelling brings people together, which is so important in these challenging times. Using this package, your child will have lots of fun sharing a story in two different ways. These activities offer lots of ideas to guide and inspire your young storyteller! This Learning Plan was developed in collaboration with ASD-E.
• Let’s Grow Together! (Grades 3-5) In this activity, children will plan to plant a garden this summer, and along the way, they can explore measurement, journals, music, art, science, Indigenous ways of knowing, and so much more! These activities can be completed with materials typically found in many households. This Learning Plan was developed in collaboration with ASD-W.
• Connecting to the Earth Through Observation (Grades 3-5) What makes the world around us unique and special? Your child will explore this question by developing their observation skills and using their creativity to think about our connections to the Earth and our environment, and then recording their observations in a field journal. All activities can be completed without an electronic device. This Learning Plan was developed in collaboration with a team of EECD Learning Specialists.

Many children love to make up songs and rhymes, create dances, tell and act out stories, draw, colour, build, and move their bodies. In this learning plan, you will find a selection of activities that will encourage your children to express themselves creatively and to get up and move! • Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies (Grades 6-8) Feeling connected is a basic human need that is even more important in challenging times like these. The activities in this package are aimed at supporting you to make connections to yourself, to others and to nature. This Learning Plan was developed in collaboration with a team of EECD Learning Specialists.
• Let’s Do Our Part! (Grades 6-8) The activities in this package will help you to explore what you are passionate about and help you to prepare to be an active global citizen! Our world needs all different kinds of citizens: citizen scientists, citizen artists, citizen storytellers, citizen builders, citizen educators, and more.
