IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE
Please Contact the school if your child is ill.
ü Safety wise – it is always extremely important that you contact the school and let them know if your child is going to be out.
ü Especially during cold and flu season, it is important for the school to be able to track what viruses are going around in order to help prevent them from spreading. Public Health uses the information we provide to help provide us with the resources and assistance to prevent the spread of viruses.
ü Permission slips are very important.
ü Permission slips are a form of communication between Parents/Guardians and the School that are vital in helping keep your child safe, while allowing them the opportunity to participate in various opportunities that may be offered. These forms communicate the following information to us:
ü Your child has your permission to participate in the event / activity.
ü Your child has transportation to/from these events/activities and a plan in place for them to participate.
ü Your child is entrusted to our care for these events/activities.
ü Permission slips are written documentation that provides details for what is taking place, who is entrusted with your child’s care and who should be contacted should further information be required.
Gagetown & District Recreation Council Inc. does a great deal with and for our school, as well as for the community. We will be positing some of their events (ie: Drop-In Centre, etc) on our website throughout the school year.
We encourage everyone to check out their website as well @
Gagetown School also encourages parents of pre-school aged children to check out the Gagetown Playgroup. More information is included in the ad below.
