HPMS Bottle Drop-Off

​HP Phys Ed Department is having a bottle drop off fundraiser at the school on Saturday, December 14th from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Pleaae stop by the school with your refundables and we would be happy to take them off your hands!

Christmas Theme Days

In order to have some fun as we head into the Christmas Break, staff and students are encouraged to show their school spirit by taking part in the following Theme Days"

  • ​Monday, December 16: Blue and White Day
  • Tuesday, December 17: Christmas Sweater Day
  • Wednesday, December 18: Jersey Day
  • Thursday, December 19: Christmas or Winter Hat Day
  • Friday, December 20: Pyjama Day​

The pototoes have arrived!

If you ordered potatoes through our fundraiser, today's your lucky day - they're here! 

Please plan to pick these up before Friday, December 20. 

When you come to get them, please come to the main office and let us cross your name off the list. Once you've done that, you can take home your delicious spuds! 

The school will be open until 4:30 for you to pick up your potatoes.

Potato Fundraiser - Deadline is Friday, November 29

Don't forget to send in your order forms and payments for our Potato fundraiser - last year we raised approximately $1900.00 and we hope to do better this year!  Mrs. Shaw, one of our teachers, is determined to sell 1000 lbs!

Please take the time to make sure your order is organized and complete before it's given to your child's homeroom teacher:

  • ​Is your child's full name and class on the order form?
  • Are all the payments included?
  • Can we read the information on the form?

No Stone Left Alone - HPMS in the news

We are incredibly proud of our students for their participation in the Canada-wide No Stone Left Alone program - we are the only school in New Brunswick who takes part in this very important initiative.  For anyone who missed it, please watch the CTV news link (below) - be proud of your children for showing such respect to our veterans and fallen service members!

Students who normally travel on bus 382 will be travelling on bus 378 today and it is running about 15 minutes later than usual. ​

Information for families - School Closures due to Weather

​Please take some time to review the Weather School Closures document  2019-2020 that we've just added to our site (look in the Documents section) - this will help everyone know what to expect as our winter weather is just around the corner.

Power outage UPDATE (11:50 am - November 1)

Please be advised that we have received officilal word of the following:

  • WALKING STUDENTS will be dismissed at 12:00 NOON
  • ​BUSES will start loading at 12:45 pm​

Please note that we do not have a schedule to determine exactly what time buses will arrive or drop children off - thank you for your patience and understanding! 

We cannot send/answer any emails as our entire network is offline.

Please be advised that we currently have no power at HP (as of 10:15 am) - classes will continue as usual, unless we are given instructions from District Office. We cannot send emails to parents, so please check back here for any updates. ​Unless something different is posted, we will carry on as usual!
