As you are aware, schools are now closed for two weeks. At this time, we are not able to permit staff or students to enter the building. Custodians are the only people permitted in the buidling. If this directive chnages, we will notify parents/guardians and students via the school website and an email/voicemail. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
In addition, currently schools do not need to send work home for students, however this directive could change as we all go through this new experience. I know that some teachers have students with work to complete, or work that was already assigned before schools closed.
We are all hopeful that this closure will help reduce the risk of spreading this virus more than it already has. Stay home and stay safe everyone!

Our Pink Shirt Day is coming up quickly - February 26th! Many students have asked about being able to order a Pink Day T-Shirt. Homeroom teachers have order forms available - the cost is $10. All order forms and money must be submitted no later than January 31, so that the order can be made. No late orders will be accepted as we order these through The Boys & Girls Club. We have attached an order form to the website as well. Feel free to order as many t-shirts as you would like.
We are delighted to have the opportunity to take our students skating this winter! Please note the following:
- All students must hand in a signed permission slip (homeroom teachers will send these home)
- Students participating must have skates/CSA approved helmet
– NO BIKE HELMETS.
- Since we are
returning to the school on a bus, and some students will travel in the morning
with their skates, skates must be in a secure, strong canvas bag so there is no
damage to buses. Blades can be sharp!
