Hello MAS Families! We have had a great week here at MAS. Our Remembrance Day Assembly was beautiful. Thank you to the Navy Cadet League Fredericton Chapter for joining us and playing O’Canada. One of our own students is a part of this and did a wonderful job! Pictures of the assembly can be found on our website in the photo section. Reminder that there is no school on Monday, November 13th due to Remembrance Day.
Chapters Fundraiser- Again Thank you to the parents and students that were able to help out with our Chapters Fundraiser, we raised $347.00!
Interview Times- Students will be bringing home the interview form scheduling sheet. Please be sure to pick your top three preferred times and return the form to school as soon as possible. We encourage all families to attend as it is important for your child’s academic success. If you can absolutely not attend at those arranged times, please contact the teacher.
Clothing Exchange- Do you have warm clothes that you wouldn’t mind donating to families who need them? The Home and School is organizing a kids’ clothing exchange! This is a completely free event! But we are looking for families who would be interested in cleaning out their closets and bringing their unused and outgrown children’s winter clothes. All items will be collected, sorted and organized on November 22nd, and parents will be able to choose items to take home during parent-teacher interviews on November 23rd & 24th . Any leftover items will be donated to the Thrift Missions Store (on Sunset Drive) right after the event. We kindly ask that the items brought in be clean and in good condition. Community School Family Request- We have a school family looking for help in getting their children to and from school. If anyone is willing and able to help out, could you please contact Dwayne at 443-2518.
