Hello MAS Families! This was a short week due to weather closures and it also brought back the cold…BRRRR. Hard to believe we say “goodbye” to January this week and “Hello” to February! I want to thank parents for adjusting with our drop off time and new start time. It is much appreciated the efforts that are being made to have your child to school on time and ready to learn by 8:10am.
Healthy School- Please refer to yesterday’s email and attachment if you are ever wondering about sending your child to school when not feeling well. There is advice from public health in the document that indicates when you should keep your child home in order to help to prevent the spread of illness. Ex. If your child has vomited twice in 24 hours, they should be free from vomiting for 48 hours before return. If your child has a fever, the fever needs to be gone for 24 hours without medicine before considering returning to school. Little tips that allow for your child to get healthy before their return and tips to prevent the spread of germs.
MAD Science- MAD Science after school program starts this week on Monday, January 29th for those that have registered. Grades k-2 will go from 2-3:00pm and grades 3-5 from 3-4:00pm.
Hot Lunch Credit- Due to the weather closure on Tuesday, January 23rd anyone that ordered Great Canadian bagel will be credited on March’s order form for March 13th.
Hot Lunch- This week we will have hot lunch on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Wednesday January 31 – NBA 2 Ball at the Currie Centre
Thursday February 1 – Pizza hot lunch. York Care gr 2 and gr 5
Friday February 2- Groundhog Day J . Hot Lunch Tots and Taters. Last day gr. 5IF.
