Hello MAS Families. We have had another great week at MAS. The students really seemed to enjoy the Jillian Jiggs performance. It was fun to see a well known book come to life. We also had many students come back for our bike rodeo. It was great to see them learn about bike safety from our City Police.
Reminder there is NO school on Monday, May 14th. Teachers will be in NBTA meetings all day.
EXCITING NEWS- Please see attached letter! This letter will also be sent home on Tuesday, May 15 with all grade Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students.
Creative Clusters- Forms for top 3 choices have gone home. I realize we put due back on Monday, but with no school they will be due back on Tuesday. For those that do not return their form, a selection will be made for them.
Jump Rope For Heart- On Monday students brought home Jump Rope for Heart Fundraising forms. On Tuesday they enjoyed a presentation from the Heart and Stroke foundation around the importance of heart health. They also were told that the TOP 3 fundraisers will get to put pie in the teacher's face of their choice. They seemed quite excited about this!!! Forms are due back on Friday, May 25th.
MAS Color Splash Dash- Extended sign up date to May 25th!!! Don't forget to sign up for this FUN event! Invite your family and friends. Can sign up on schoolcashonline or at the school.
Drama/Spring Concert- On Monday, May 28th parents are invited to join us here at MAS at 1:00pm to see our drama group performance, along with hearing all our classes take the stage to share a song. We look forward to seeing you!

Tuesday May 15- Bagel hot lunch. June hot lunch order forms go out. Home and School Meeting 6pm.
Wednesday May 16- Drama practice after school. Creative Clusters begin.
Thursday May 17- Hot lunch pizza. Grade 5s swimming at Nasis pool. Grade 2s visit York Care.
Friday May 18- Tots N Taters Hot lunch. LHHS Clubs.

May 23- Kindergarten Orientation for our class of 2018-2019
May 24- Hot lunch order forms due back.
May 25- Grades 3-5 Track and Field Day @ Nasis Middle. Students will go by bus.
May 25- Family Movie Night. Jump Rope for Heart fundraising due back.
May 28- Lions Club/City Police Finger printing pilot project. 1:00pm Drama/Spring Concert
May 29- Half day for students. Dismissal 11:30am.
May 31- Grade 5 Orientation at Nasis.
