Hello MAS Families!
I hope you are enjoying the summer and all the heat and that
this email finds you well and healthy. I wanted to reach out as a follow up to
yesterday’s email from District office with the ‘Return to School Parent
Guide’. Please be sure to read through the guide. With this year’s return to
school being like no other, please expect a few extra emails from myself prior
to school start, keeping you up to date with McAdam Avenue information. As you
read through the Parent Guide document I am sure some questions may arise and
hopefully as we move along they will be answered. I wanted to share that I am
currently working on our school plan and will share with you as soon as
possible. Being a small school we will see very little changes to our school
day routines (YAY!). As you may have noted in the document, it shared
that students will require community masks at school. I wanted to let you
know that we are in the process of having one (potentially two) masks made for
each student to use at school. It is also suggested that students bring along a
small personal hand sanitizer. I know these are hot items in stores these days,
so this will give you some time to pick some up on your shopping outings.
Our start date will be Tuesday, September 8th for
grades 1-5 and Kindergarten will enter on a staggered entry with half coming on
Tuesday, September 8th or Wednesday September 9th 9-11am,
then all students attending Thursday, September 10th regular school
hours. Mrs. Yerxa will be in touch with Kindergarten families the week of August
24th to confirm your child’s start day.
If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please do
not hesitate to reach out.
