Week at a Glance Feb 8-12

Hello MAS Families! Although it has been a short week at school, it has been a fun week. Lots of snow and snow hills to play on and we ended the week in our jammies and eating bagels for breakfast!

For the month of February we have begun a Kindness Challenge. Students are encouraged to recognize their friends for being kind to others. Students will complete a kindness slip and place in our kindness jar. On Fridays, I will read aloud our acts of kindness.

Reminders-

Staff Appreciation- Feb 8th to 12th is staff appreciation week. It is a wonderful time to spread more kindness and be sure to say a “Thank you” to any staff at MAS and to let them know you recognize and appreciate all they do for your child. It is a week to celebrate their commitment, hard work, and dedication to making MAS the wonderful school it is.

Chinese New Year Lunch- Reminder that on Friday, February 12 is our Chinese New Year lunch and celebration.

Valentine’s Day- Valentine’s Day will be celebrated on Friday, February 12! Reminder students are creating valentines for their classmates at school this year. If parents would like to send in a treat, this must be unopened and in store bought packaging. Please check with classroom teacher prior to sending in treats.
