Week at a Glance March 15-19

Hello MAS Families. We have had a wonderful week back to school. I can’t tell you how great it truly was to walk into classrooms and see those smiling faces again!

Spring Weather- As the weather begins to warm up (YAY!) our playground becomes quite wet. Please be sure to be sending in extra clothing with your child in case they are wet from outdoor play. It is also a good idea to send in extra mittens. With snow still on the ground we encourage students to still wear snow pants and winter coats. We do allow as they are out running and playing to unzip their coat if they get hot, but not to take coats off.

Information Items-

Spring Fundraiser- Our Spring fundraiser is underway. Forms were sent home Monday, March 8th. This fundraiser is again a local business- The Bath Shack. We appreciate all your support in raising funds to support student learning initiatives.

St. Patrick’s Day- Wednesday, March 17th students are encouraged to wear green and we will be having green smoothies and muffins!

No School- Reminder that on Friday, March 19th there is no school for students. This is PL day for staff. Staff will be working on report cards and reviewing student assessment data along with participating in professional learning provided by EECD.
