​Hello MAS Families! It has been a great week at MAS and it looks like the snow is all gone from the playground- YAY sunshine!

Thank you to all that were able to join our virtual Family Bedtime Story. After reading the book, families were challenged to create a piece of art to host our very own “Family Art Show”. We ask that you create a piece of art to be displayed in our main hallway. Students can bring the art to school starting on Monday and we will fill our hallway with art from the heart.

Reminders-

No School- There is no school on Wednesday, April 14^th.  This is parent teacher interview day and PL for teachers. Our teachers will be participating in professional learning with Neill Squires association. We will be learning about accessing technology apps/programs for inclusive learning for all students. They will share with us technology that can help enhance student learning and provide support to meet various learning needs.

Parent Teacher interviews- If you have not done so, please book your parent teacher interview through the link provided. It is important that at this time of year we continue to stay informed about your child’s academic progress. If you are unable to make any of the scheduled times, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher to make arrangements for an alternate time. We really look forward to being able to meet and share your child’s academic progress with you.

Parent Virtual Presentation- We have invited our District Child and Youth team to talk with our parents about children’s fears and anxiety that have developed this year due to covid. They will share ideas of how to talk with your child and strategies and ways for you to support. Please stay tuned for a date.
