Good afternoon parents of the fabulous 5s!
 
It was nice to see some light snow on the ground today! Here is what we will be learning in our classroom this week...
 
French: We are still working on our food unit. This week, students will be discussing their dessert/snack preferences, as well as portion sizes. We will also discuss exercise and why this is an important part of staying healthy.
 
IMPORTANT NOTE: Next Tuesday, December 5th, I would like to make pita pizzas with my students. We have been discussing pizza topping preferences and it would be a nice hands on activity. This will be completed shortly before lunch. 
 
**- I will provide a pita for each student. Students are required to bring their own toppings (sauce, cheese, etc).**
 
Math: In Math, we begin division tomorrow. Students will be learning about division facts, and their related multiplication facts.
 
Important notes...
 
Parent Teacher Interviews: It was wonderful to speak with each of you during parent teacher interviews. If you were unable to attend your interview, please contact me and we can reschedule.
 
Supply teacher: I am in the office today and tomorrow, and am away at a Literacy PD on Thursday and Friday. Mrs. Keizer will be in my class, however feel free to email any time with questions or concerns.
 
Hot Lunch: A reminder that hot lunch orders are due tomorrow. Our apologies, but late orders cannot be accepted.
