​​Well that was a shorter week than planned! I think the children are very confused about being at school with all of the poor weather days and a holiday mixed in there as well.

Next week promises to be an exciting one as well with our Dr. Seuss week. 

Monday - Crazy Hat Day

Tuesday - Seussville Olympics. Also 11:00 dismissal

Wednesday - Pink Shirt Day

Thursday - Crazy Socks Day and skating

Friday - Green Eggs and Ham Day (wear a green shirt). We will also be serving green eggs and ham.

​Whew! Busy! Good thing we all have a break after that.

We have been working on 1 more and 1 less than a number as well as 2 more and 2 less than a number (which helps us with addition and subtraction) in math. We are still practicing skip-counting by 2s  and say the number sequence from 1 - 50. Encourage your child to practice their numbers forwards and backwards.

Our new WW words are walk, which, once, because, buy, saw. I have introduced almost all the words to add to our WW. After that we will practicing them all at random times. Keep asking your child to identify them when reading at home.

We are continuing with our food drive for the rest of the month and I have challenged the children to bring in as much as they can. We currently have 66 items in our box and I told them that I would get them some popsicles if we get to 100 by Wednesday. They sure would love to have those popsicles so help us out if you can.
