​​Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful March Break and are feeling well rested. We had a great start to the week with the children bursting with the things they did over the break. I love hearing all of their stories and even better, when they write about them.

We're almost done with new word wall words so only 4 this week. They are right, was, well, work. Most of these are tricky with some strange sounds, especially considering that we work so hard on stretching out the sounds in words. English is so confusing, isn't it?

We are working on writing stories just like authors do because we are all authors. Ask your child what author's trick they are trying out.

In math, we have started talking about equal and unequal sets as well as revisiting 2D and 3D shapes​.

New books went home today for the children to read at home. Please take 10 minutes to read with your child. The books that went home are all books that your child can read independently. Please fill out the reading log and return the books on Friday. Thank you for taking this important time with your child.
