Good Afternoon Parents,
Here we are beginning our last month of school. Our month will certainly be full of events and special activities The goal is to get all of our final assignments finished in our last few weeks while having fun.. Here are a few reminders for this week. ..
Grade 5 parent meeting
Monday June 4th at 6:30 Nasis Middle School is hosting an orientation meeting at the school for parents of students attending next year. The invitation also said students are welcome to come and ask questions as well.
Track and field
The district 3-5 track and field meet will be held on Thursday June 7th.  If anyone has not passed in their permission slip for that yet, please do so as soon as possible. If it rains the meet will be held on the next Monday.
York Care
The students that are not participating in the district track and field meet will come to York care on Thursday June 7th for our final visit.
Greenhill Lake Field Trip
Notices are being sent home today to let everyone know we will be going to Greenhill Lake on June 12th. There is also a list of things students need to bring along for the trip.
Graduation
With graduation fast approaching just wanted to see if I can get any other volunteers to help decorate the school on June 20th. Also I have had a few people volunteer to have balloons sent home to be blown up but I do need some more. If you are able please let me know.
This Week- 
Monday June 4-  PSSC meeting 6:00pm, Home and School meeting 7:00pm. Grade 5 parent meeting at Nasis Middle 6:30pm.
Tuesday June 5-   Hot lunch Bagel.  JUMP DAY- music and skipping at lunch for Jump Rope for Heart.  
Wednesday June 6- Lions Club presentation of Canada Flags for students. Creative Clusters.   
Thursday June 7- Hot lunch pizza.  York Care visit Whole school. District Track and Field day for selected grade 3-5s. 
Friday June 8-  Tots N Taters Hot lunch. LHHS
