Fun with 3D Shapes

We have been learning about 3D shapes and have been having lots of fun building with and creating 3D structures.  In these pictures you can see, we have used wooden blocks to create a building or structure.  In the second set of photos you can see we worked together in partners to create a safe home for an animal. Using the building materials, we were asked to build a 3D structure that would be tall, wide and long enough to fit a specific animal that was given to each partner group.  We did FANTASTIC and LOVED every minute of it!
