Our First Week

Wow! It's been a great first week here in grade 1! It has been a pleasure getting to know all of the new grade 1 students. They are getting used to being back in school and learning new routines. I am very lucky to be working with some wonderful children.

We are working on making patterns in math and refreshing our memory of letter identification and the sounds that they make. You can help your child at home by helping them to identify the letters and patterns they see in their environment.

I look forward to seeing all of you on Thursday evening at our Meet the Teacher event.
