Our Advanced Tech class is creating a shed that showcases as many environmentally friendly ideas as possible. Once built, their shed will include: a popcan heater, trombe wall, solar panels, small wind turbine, and the most eco-friendly materials they can afford. As a literacy initiative, students are reading and listening to the great Canadian storyteller Stuart McLean, and several letters have been sent inviting Mr. McLean to visit our school.

We have mailed a number of invitations to date to Stuart McLean. We enjoy Jacob's straightforward yet very warm invitation.
