·         Grads – Please submit your $150 Grad Fee to the office ASAP.

 

·         Track and Field practices begin this week and are today & Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm.  We meet on the bleachers at the UNBSJ Canada Games Stadium at 4:15pm.  Dress appropriate for the weather.  Communication for the team will be via Facebook group: Facebook group: 2017 RHS Track and Field team.  If you have any questions see Mr. Jordan.

 

·         Josh Lorber, Carter MacLennan, Chloe Cook and Ben Myles please go to Mme Saunders’ room, Portable 7, for a quick meeting at first break.

·         Grade 12s:  the Dr. David Stephen Humanitarian Award application is due this Monday, May 1 to Guidance

·         If there are any students interested in attending Discovery Day in Health Sciences at UNBSJ on May 24, they are now accepting more registrations.  See Mrs. Godwin for information.

·         Today is Green Day to think green and live green!  Come out to the cafeteria second half of lunch today for a bottle flipping competition.

·         Mrs. White’s Chem 12 classes are to meet at the gym entrance at 12:45 p.m. today.

 

·         The High School Water Polo Tournament takes place this weekend at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre on Saturday and Sunday.  Some out and watch your RHS Water Polo team.  Games are Saturday night at 5:15 against SJHS, 6:00 against KVHS, and 7:40 against Simonds/Harbourview.  Medal rounds will be played on Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  Come out and show your support.

·         Beyond the Hurt and Open Arms would like to thank everyone for participating in Pay It Forward week! This morning Homerooms will be exchanging posters and Sweet Comments will be delivered during period 1. Tomorrow is officially Pay It Forward Day and we hope everyone will be able to think of a way to make someone's day a little brighter. Have a great weekend!
