· There will be a meeting of the Model UN Club today at lunch in the science lecture theatre. Countries will be selected so any new members please attend!

· In hockey action last night at the Rothesay Arena, the Boys' Hockey Team defeated St. Malachy's High School by a score of 5-1. Leading the way for RHS was Josh Cropley with a hat trick while Jared Kerr and Zach Long added singles. The boys' team remains in first place.

ATHLETICS NEWS
· Congratulations to the KV Panthers volleyball club on a great showing at the age class competitive team provincials on the weekend. A special congratulations to the U18 team who won the gold medal for tier 2 – tremendous accomplishment for such a young club. Caroline Grant – a starting middle was a huge part of this win.
· Congrats to our Sr girls basketball team who won the Tantramar tournament this past weekend. Go Red Hawks!
· A reminder to Mr. Jordan’s period 3 & 4 classes that we’re in the gym today.
· Any student wishing to score keep for the KVHS Riverboat basketball games that will be happening in our gym on January 8,9, & 10th, please see Mr. Jordan asap. Pay is $10/score keeper/game. First come, first served basis.
· Rothesay High had another successful showing at the NBIAA Swimming Provincials on Saturday. J.V. Boys won bronze in the 200 I.M. relay and the Senior Boys won the silver in the 4 by 100 freestyle relay. All swimmers made PB's in their events and did extremely well. Well done Red Hawks!
· A reminder about the water polo clinic tonight @ 5pm at Simonds for all those who’ve signed up.
· Gr 9/10 students: with your period 4 teacher’s permission, pay your period 4 teacher on Friday $2 to come to the gym to watch the JV Boys basketball team play St. Stephen. Go to period 4 on Friday, pay $2, get a ticket and come to the gym to support your team!
