BIG NEWS THIS WEEK: We made it to the voting round of the AVIVA Community Fund. Each person who registers receives 10 votes to use.

PHOTO RETAKES: October 24 8:30 am -- should be done by 9:30 am
Tuesday evening there is a meeting for PSSC representatives from all area schools. The meeting starts with a light dinner at 6PM at Hampton Middle School.
We will be recognizing Wacky Wednesday the last week of the month when students are able to switch playgrounds. We will also be having an assembly on Wednesday with our guidance counsellor.
Cross Country continues afterschool on Wednesday with the students ready to run at 3:15PM at the Qplex.
Thursday we are welcoming author Sarah Sawler as part of the Fundy Fog Lit Festival. She will be sharing her books which link to the Grade 3 and Grade 4 Social Studies curriculum content.
Please continue to collect Toonies for Terry! We currently are half way to our goal of $450!
AFTERSCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES:
·        Estey Art Afterschool Program: Tuesday afterschool beginning October 9 – 10 weeks - $185 Interested students can sign up by emailing jennifer@esteycreations.com or online: http://esteyart.com/

LOOKING FOR: Our new Grade 2 French Immersion classes are currently doing a unit on food and are looking for some props to help in their teaching. They would love to have donations of plastic food to create a “grocery store” play station in their classrooms.

What’s happening in the Community?
