It was a great opportunity to meet with families to discuss your child’s progress last week at our Family/Teacher Conferences. Thank you for your continued support!

A few updates for you as we start the week!

HES Jump Rope for Heart – HES is excited to participate in Jump Rope for Heart again this year. Fundraising for Jump Rope for Heart will take place between April 16^th and April 26^th. We have invited our future students at DATL to join us in the jumping events taking place the week of April 22^nd to April 26^th during our jump week. Each HES class will be paired with a class from DATL, with the HES students leading the DATL students through 8 different skipping/ jumping stations. Thank you to both Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Brenton for your work on this joint schools initiative!

Provincial Assessments – During the month of May, students in grades 4 and 5 will be completing provincial assessments. All grade 4 students will complete assessments in Reading (English) and Science. All grade 5 students will complete assessments in Math, and grade 5 FI students will complete an assessment in French Reading.
