The Tech Room and the Art Room are both CLOSED today at lunch.

This is a reminder to Beginner Band students of your band prep this morning. Please check in with your period one teacher and then come to the Music room.

Ski / snowboard club - Reminder to all participants to be sure you have your Poley ski pass issued last week with you today. Those with equipment will be called at 1:50 to collect their gear and board the bus. All others will be dismissed from P5 at 2:00 (no announcement). Please use the washroom before boarding the bus. I have a pair of girls ski goggles to donate if anyone needs a pair.

All 3 on 3 basketball team lists must be submitted by today at 11:55am, with appropriate team names. There is room for more referees and score keepers, please sign up in the gym.

Basketball action:

The Varsity Boys will have practice after school today.

Both of our girls’ basketball teams suffered losses at the hands of teams from Sussex yesterday. Despite the scores, both teams played well and showed improvement as the games progressed.

On Monday, the VB travel to HMMS for a game and our JVB will host RPS. Additional score keepers are needed for Monday’s JVB home game so if you can help, please see Ms. Hannam or sign up on the sheet outside the gym.

Also Monday, the JVG will practice from 6-7pm.

Other:

Yearbooks - The deadline to order a PERSONALIZED copy of the yearbook is Jan 31st. If you would like to have your name on the cover of your yearbook, follow the Jostens link on the QMS homepage to order your copy today! We are about 50% sold on available copies this year.

PRIDE Passes – A grade 6 student is always willing to help Mrs. McCarty and others during French class. A grade 7 student made many insightful contributions to the class discussion.
