​Grad Class 2020
 
Grade 12 students requiring transcripts for universities/colleges or for scholarship applications should email Mrs. Hovey (krista.hovey@nbed.nb.ca).

 
Students can still apply for scholarships, the document can be found under "Grads 2019".

 
Any scholarship applications that say "Guidance" have been scanned and added under "Grads 2019" in pdf form. Completed applications that say "Return to Guidance" should be scanned and emailed to Mrs. Hovey.

 
Students can still apply to universities/colleges on their websites. It is very quick and easy to do. Once you've applied on-line, email Mrs. Hovey to have your transcript sent.

Grad Dinner and Variety Show – Grads only! Business Dress appropriate.

 

June 1-5      

Noon (School Lobby)

Non-Grad Dates: Prom Dinner Tickets for Sale - $30. Tickets must be purchased at this time. No tickets available at the door. 

Grads: Pick up prom dinner tickets and indicate choice of meal.

The cost of the dinner for grads is included in the grad fee.

Hampton Town Square – Grads arrive no later than 4:45 pm

Prom Dinner

Seniors Resource Centre

Guests of grads must show tickets at the door.

Students have been invited to visit residents at Dr. V.A. Snow Center

 

 

8 pm – 12 am

Graduation Prom

Hampton High School Gymnasium.

Grads are announced as they enter alphabetically

Parents are welcome to sit in the bleachers as grads enter. First dance with a parent or other significant adult.

 

Wednesday, June 17

9 am

Grad list posted. Grade 12 report cards available from homeroom teachers

 

9:30 am

COMPULSORY GRADUATION REHEARSAL – All Grads Must Attend!

Distribution of invitations:

Theatre (2 per graduate)

Students indicate if they would like more tickets and a draw for extra tickets will take place in the theater after the initial distribution of tickets.

Overflow in learning commons (60 seats + standing room)

 

Thursday, June 18

5 pm

Grads pick up caps and gowns in Physics Lab

 

 

Business Dress appropriate! Once in gown, students remain behind grey doors. Line up for procession at 5:45. After the ceremony, return gown (zipped) to the Physics Lab. Please ensure that your name has been checked off, proving that you have returned your gown. You will be charged for your gown if it is not returned.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Photographs of each grad will be taken by Hilite Gallery as they cross the stage. These are available for purchase. (To ensure a good photo, grads must have the tassel of the cap on the right and hair away from the left side of the face.)

Friday, June 19

6:00 am

Post Safe Grad Breakfast – Hampton Bible Camp

Buses return to Hampton Bible Camp from Safe Grad. Students to be picked up by 7:00 am.

 

                                               

 

REFRESHMENT DONATIONS FROM PARENTS OF GRADS

Each year, we are able to defray costs by the generous donations of snacks, sweets and beverages by parents of the graduates. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and donations to this effort.

 

 

 

 

 

Exam WeekΒ­

(June 8 -12)

Beverages &  Pancake mix

Each graduate is expected to bring two beverages (either pop or juice) that will be served at both the Prom & the Graduation Reception. Also, students with last name beginning A – L are asked to bring one box of pancake mix (it must be the type that is mixed with water).  Students with last name beginning with M – Z are asked to bring one bottle of syrup. Bring these to Room 208.

 

Baccalaureate Service 

(June 14)

Sweet trays, fruit trays, dips, etc.

Drop these off in the basement of the church when you arrive for the service.

Prom

(June 15)

 

Drop off snacks, veggie trays, fruit trays, dips, etc. in the school lobby.

Please use disposable serving trays. These snacks will be served at the prom

 

Graduation

(June 18)         

 

Parents of grade 11 students will be providing food for this!
