This is a reminder of grade six band prep in period one.  Please get permission from your teacher before coming.
 
Singing Club rehearsal today after school has been cancelled.
 
Sports:
Badminton Tryouts continue from 3:00-4:30pm today.
 
Good luck to the JV Boys soccer team as they travel to MCS for a 4:00pm game today.
 
Good luck to the JV Girls soccer team as they host BMS today at 4:00pm.
 
Attention all Varsity Boys soccer players – you have a game tomorrow at Hampton Middle school – this is a make-up game and new to the schedule.
 
It was another spectacular performance from the whole team as the Varsity boys defeated Sussex Middle School 3 – 0 to remain undefeated. Brayden Ryall scored 2 and Myles MacGougan scored the other. Allan Fournier recorded his 3rd shut-out in five games . The boys will take on Rothesay Netherwood today at 4:00.
 
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls soccer team on defeating Sussex Middle yesterday 2-1.

We have some students from QMS who have art on display at the Cathedral Art Show and & Sale on Waterloo Street from Oct. 25-28.  If anyone is interested, see poster on Art Room window.
 
Q-CREW is asking for your help to Help us Scare Hunger!  Bring in non-perishable foods to help us help those who are struggling with hunger in our Community.  We will be taking donations from October 24-November 1.  The class with the most donations wins the Cougar Pride trophy.
 
Student Leadership Council forms are to be returned tomorrow to Mrs. Miller.
 
Best Buddies will be meeting tomorrow at break in grade 7 Resource Room. (204B).
 
Tomorrow we will be having a Hat / Superhero Day in support of SuperKids and the quest to end brain tumors. For a donation of $1 (or more) students may wear a hat for the day or come dressed as their favorite superhero. Please help support this great cause!

Calling all hockey players!  Want to play in a fun 3 on 3 jamboree style event?  
Register for The Courage Cup. 
This Saturday from 11am to 1pm as part of Superkids Quispamsis: Finding the Courage to End Brain Tumours
From 11 am to 12 pm - IP, Novice and Atom players will play 3 on 3 mini games on the ice.
From 12 pm to 1pm - Peewee, Bantam and Midget players will hit the ice for 3 on 3 mini games.
