Athletics:
 
Congrats to the Varsity Boys Soccer team on defeating RNS 4-1 yesterday. Goals scored by Natan VanDam (2), Andre Landry, and Braydon Ryall. Good luck to the Varsity Boys as they travel to Hampton Middle school for a make-up game at 4:00
 
Congratulations to the JV girls soccer team for their win over Belleilsie 1-0!  Isabel Bordage scored for the Cougars.  The JV girls soccer team will practice from 3-4:15 today.
The JV boys played hard yesterday but came out on the losing end 3-1.  Goal was scored by Angelus Chaisson with assist by Lucas MacNeil. The team will practice on Monday from 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
Badminton team practices will continue on Tuesday and Thursday next week.
Badminton Club after school today from 3:00-4:30.
 
 
A Cougar PRIDE Shout Out goes out to Ainsley Good. Ainsley was interviewed on CBC Information Morning today in her role as part of the Editorial Board for CBC Kids. Ainsley sounded extremely professional and represented herself and QMS with great pride.
 
Q-CREW is asking for your help to Help us Scare Hunger!  Bring in non-perishable foods to help us help those who are struggling with hunger in our Community.  We will be taking donations from October 24-November 1.  The class with the most donations wins the Cougar Pride trophy.
 
Student Leadership Council forms are to be returned today to Mrs. Miller.
 
Best Buddies will be meeting today at break in grade 7 Resource Room. (204B).
 
Today is Hat / Superhero Day in support of SuperKids and the quest to end brain tumors. For a donation of $1 (or more) students may wear a hat for the day or come dressed as their favorite superhero. Please help support this great cause by giving your donation to your homeroom teacher or donating in the office.
 
Calling all hockey players!  Want to play in a fun 3 on 3 jamboree style event?  
Register for The Courage Cup. This Saturday from 11am to 1pm as part of Superkids Quispamsis: Finding the Courage to End Brain Tumours. From 12 pm to 1pm - Peewee, Bantam and Midget players will hit the ice for 3 on 3 mini games.
