Cougar Shout Out to Isaac Hierlihy who won the Academic Award for his hockey team at the provincial AAA banquet which is part of Provincial Tournament

This is a reminder to Concert Band members of band prep in Period 3 today.
 
Sports:  
The Varsity Boys Volleyball tryouts will start today (Friday) from 4:30-6:00pm and again on Tuesday, March 19 from 6:00-7:30pm. Please sign up outside the gym.
 
The JV Girls Volleyball tryouts will start next week – Monday March 18, Tuesday March 19 and Thursday March 21 from 4:30-6:00pm. Please sign up outside the gym.
 
The JV Boys Volleyball tryouts will start next week – Monday Mach 18, Tuesday March 19 and Wednesday March 20 from 6:00-7:30pm. Please sign up outside the gym.
 
Volleyball Club will NOT start TODAY.  Instead it will begin at the end of the month, on Friday, March 29th.  This is a FREE club and open to anyone who would like to stay afterschool on Friday to Play volleyball.

Knitting Club meets today in the Art Room at lunchtime.  Please join us at the START of the lunch hour, ready to eat and then we’ll get knitting!
What do – Bill Gates, Deepak Chopra, Martin Luther King Jr. and Mark Zuckerberg all have in common?  They are all impactful public speakers.  If public speaking is something you enjoy or are interested in trying for, then the first meeting will be TODAY in Room 102 (Mrs. Miller) at 11:50.  Hope to see lots of interested students come.  Don’t be shy!

Yearbooks are still available for purchase at the office through Mme Spinks.  Cash or cheque - $30.
 
Popcorn for sale upstairs at noon.  Check the lost ‘n found table.
