If you are graduating in June 2018, and you receive a scholarship, bursary or award for post-secondary education, please provide your written copy of confirmation to Ms. Kokoski in Guidance.
Recipients of scholarships, bursaries and awards are recognized at graduation, but only if we receive written confirmation from the student which acts as approval to do so.

Horatio Alger Scholarship

Scholarships of up to $10,000 are awarded to full-time students in their last year of high school with financial need (family income under $65,000) who have demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, a commitment to pursue a post-secondary education, a desire to contribute to society, and a good academic record. ​

Arthur Paulin Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship

  • $700 scholarship
  • Enrolled in an automotive aftermarket industry-related program or curriculum at a Canadian college or university.
  • Includes students pursuing their studies as an automotive apprentic.
  • Includes studies in auto body, hard parts, heavy duty, or motive power (machinists).

Schulich Leader Scholarships
 
Must be nominated by the school.  This application process has 2 parts to complete.
 
PART 1 Selecting a Nominee
Please submit a letter of intention to Ms. Kokoski and include the following:
1. What program and university you are applying to Be sure it is STEM approved! 
2.Please submit a 600 word essay demonstrating why you would be a good candidate for the Schulich Leader scholarship.
Intention letters can be submitted to the main office with the attention to Ms. Kokoski
Deadline for submission is January 25, 2017
Part 2
1. Nominee will be selected by the scholarship committee
2. The nominee will receive an email with a link to complete the Schulich Leader Scholarship Application

Kin Canada Bursaries
Kin Canada Bursaries, a program of the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund (HREF).
Must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant.
Must be a full-time student in the process of graduating from high school or currently studying or registered at a post-secondary institution.
Must complete the current application form and submit it to the Kinsmen, Kinette or Kin Club closest to their permanent residence by February 1. Bursary winners are notified before June 30 by their sponsoring club.
Will be evaluated on their community and school involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada and financial need.
