UPDATED EXAM WEEK SCHEDULE
The Superindendent has approved the following revision of the exam schedule:
Thursday Jan 25 - Period 2 exam
Friday Jan 26 - Period 3 exam
Monday Jan 29 - Period 4 (morning) and Period 5 (afternoon)
Tuesday and Wednesday (Jan 30-31) will be turn around days. High School students are not required to attend. The first day of semester 2 will be Thursday Feb 1.
Regular classes for all students in grades K-8

There is an opportunity for students to take Drivers Ed here at the school. Dates of instruction are:
January 29 8am to 5pm
January 30 8am to 5pm
January 31 3:45pm to 7:15pm
February 1 3:45pm to 7:15

A note to all Grads and parents: If you wish to order Grad sweatshirts, the $40 needs to be brought in ASAP. The order cannot be placed until all money is delivered. Thank you

All parents k-12, please be advised that Tuesday, September 26th is a 1/2 day PL Day for teachers. ALL students will be dismissed early and buses will be leaving at 12:00pm. Please contact the school office you have any questions.
Becca Scholfield Day - Act of Kindness Challenge
Becca Schofield Day is on Saturday, September 16th. We at SCS are helping RHS in challenging all students and staff to commit to an Act of Kindness this Saturday. #BeccaToldMeTo
Teachers are reminding students of this challenge and we will tally the results on Monday, Sept 18th for me to send to RHS.

K-5 "Canada 150" spring concert
Just a reminder to parents and the school community - the k-5 students will be performing a selection of songs for their spring concert this Wednesday, June 14th at 1pm in the school cafeteria. The theme for this year is "Canada 150".
Welcome to Kindergarten Orientation
The Welcome to Kindergarten Orientation session will be held at Stanley Consolidated School on May 24, 2017 from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. This meeting will provide helpful school readiness information for both you and your child for their entry into kindergarten in 2017-2018. Party program May 11th for Grade 9 and 12
This is a program meant to Prevent Alchohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth. Grade 9 and 12 students will be attending on May 11th in Doaktown at Prospect Place Arena. The students will be transported by bus and will leave a 8:30am, retuning to SCS by the end of the day.

SRC - SCS April Fundraiser April 5th-April 12th
SRC Fundraising is to support school activities and events. This particular fundraising initiative includes products that are natural, so please allow approximately 8 weeks for delivery from order. This is a great way to support our school and local businesses.
