This Friday - September 29, the first free-write of the year is due for grades 6,7,8 Language Arts students. Each week, the students write about a topic of their choice in their writing notebook in class. One of their entries is to be re-written and passed in. For this piece, the topic and form (poem, informational or narrative) is up to them. This can be handwritten, one page - single spaced or two pages - double spaced.
