Hello! Today is Monday, December 5th and this is Ms. McGrath calling with a few messages for Raiders and their families.
I don’t have too much on my list this week.
Basketball tryouts start this Friday, December 9th at 3:15 for our girl’s team. Basketball season runs in January and February. I will forward more information about boy’s tryouts when I have it.
We are happy to announce that our 3rd annual Turkey Luncheon is set for next Thursday, December 15th. Students must preorder this meal if they are interested. The cost is $9 with one dollar from each meal going to support local families in need.  This should be given to the Homeroom Teachers by the end of this week (Friday, December 9th). There is no regular cafeteria service that day so if you do not want a turkey dinner, you should plan to bring your lunch next Thursday.
I also want to remind families that our Pizza and Dinner roll dough is always available on Mondays and Fridays at a cost of $5. This is a student based business and the dough is very, very popular. Orders can be placed in the morning and picked up in the Tech Lab at the end of the day.
I know it can be difficult with children this age, but please try to encourage them to dress for the winter weather. It is very important that, in an emergency, they have coats and proper footwear. Believe it or not, some are still wearing ballet flats with no socks and t-shirts. You can tell them Ms. McGrath said so if that helpsJ
