No School Wed, Nov. 18 - Transitional Meetings

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):
 
I would like to make you aware that on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015, Woodlawn Learning Centre will be holding its first Transitional Meetings. As a result of these meetings there will not be any classes for students on this date.
If you and your child receive a phone call from us, in order to setup a meeting time this means that we are looking at meeting with you and your child to discuss how Woodlawn Learning Centre’s services are being used. We will endeavor to book a mutually convenient meeting time, however, we want to stress the importance of attending this meeting. There could be several areas of concern such as attendance, academics, behavior, future plans and transition planning back to their home school.
If you do not receive a phone call from us, then the assumption can be made that things are fine or that our contact information has become outdated. You can always call us at 643-6190 to update any phone number changes.
I thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. We do feel that these new Transition Meetings will assist to make Alternative Education Programming in our district most beneficial to all who are involved.
