​Donate! Donate! Donate! We all have to be kind and sharing. Please bring in non-perishable food items and socks to school. We will be donaating to the West Side Food Bank and to community shelters.

Christian Fellowship will start today with Mr. Smith in room 21 during lunch. This is open to everyone who would like to learn more about the Christian faith. Bring you lunch and all are welcome.

Intramurals today is 4square. Please bring your lunch and please have sneakers on your feet.

The boys soccer game has been postponed(cancelled) for today!

​Good luck to the girls' soccer team who play here today against MNS. Come out and chher on your team! Way to go Lightning.

Intramurals today is 4 corner soccer. Please bring your lunch and sneakers.

Lost and Found is becoming very full, please claim your items.

It is Learning Outdoors week and Wednesday is "Take Me Outside Day."

Anyone interested in Best Buddies please go to Mrs. Blanchard's room today at noon ~ Room 37.

It is Bus Safety Week ~ please sit and be safe while on the bus.

Tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. is a meeting for our Grade 8 students and their families to discuss the grade 8 year-end trip and fundraising opportunities.

Christian Fellowship will start tomorrow (Tues. Oct 18th ) with Mr. Smith in room 21 during lunch. This is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the Christian faith. Please bring your lunch and all are welcome.

​Congratulations to the cross country team who did a great job at City and Districts on Tuesday.

Ultimate Frisbee is cancelled this week. Please listen to the announcements for tryout dates next week.

Good Luck to the boys' soccer team who are off to play Sam De Cham today at 4:00 p.m.

Intramurals today is badminton.

Please make a donation of socks and or non-perishable food items for our community!

This week is FIRE PREVENTION WEEK! Please practice fire prevention. We will be having a Fire Drill tomorrow ( Friday) at school.

Reading Buddies starts today! if you are in  Reading Buddies, please check in with your period 5 teacher for attendance and go to Room 12 with Mr. Savoie to head over to St. Rose as a group.

Tomorrow we have the canteen at lunch. All items are $1.00 - $2.00

Pizza is hot lunch - check with your parents if you ordered Pizza, if you believe you ordered pizza and your name is NOT on the list, please come to the office.

​Please bring in your donations of socks and food for our community.

Congratulations to our runners on a job well done yesterday at Districts. We had two runners place; Brayden Hewey came in 1st for grade 8 boys and James Burns placed 3rd for grade 6 boys. A special shoutout to Molly Boyle, Jade Blanchard, Tyler Tobin and Bryce Richardson who all ran with great effort as well!

Today our Girls Soccer Team have a game after school here! Go Lightning!

​Good Luck to the Cross Country team who are off to City and Districts today at Forest Hills. All Runners, please come to the gym at the dismissal at the end of the day.

Intramurals today is badminton. Please remember to bring your lunch and sneakers.

There is no boys soccer practice today after school.

We are working at upgrading our washrooms with new floors and stalls. We would really appreciate if all students treated these areas with respect!

October is Socktober, please donate new socks for those in need! At the end of the month we donate to charity.

We are also collecting non-perishable food items for The West Side Food Bank, we are accepting all donations.

​Cross Country today from 3:00 - 3:45 p.m.

Ultimate Frisbee practice today from 3:00 - 4:00. Please meet in the gym right after school.

Intramurals are back and today we will be doing dodgeball. Please sign in when you enter the gym.

Girls' soccer game today after school against RVMS. Good luck Lightning!

Immunization clinic is this Wednesday, October 5th.

The Lost and Found is building up, please come and claim your items.

​Good Luck to the girls' soccer team as they play against Forest Hills this afternoon. Go Lightning!

Congratulations to the Cross Country Team on their great job yesterday at the meet! Huge shout out to Lukas James who placed 3rd, and Brayden Hewey and James Burns who both placed 1st. Way to go Lightning!

Ultimate Frisbee will be outside today.

Tomorrow is Orange Shirt Day - please wear your Orange shirt to school to support awareness.

The Welcome Dance is tomorrow night from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. $5.00 at the door.

Cross Country Team meet Mrs. Graham after school.

Please wear your orange shirts on Thursday to support Orange Shirt Day.

Hockey registration forms are in the office. Any questions contact Charity Miner the team manager - information is on the form.

Students in grades 6/7 if you are interested in playing U13 with the Timberwolves Volleyball club, contact timberwolvesclubdirector@gmail.com.

There is NO school on Friday for Truth and Reconciliation Day.
