Jump Rope 4 Heart Prizes Awarded

It was a big day here at FHS. We went on our Disability Awareness Walk today and after our walk we gathered in the gym to award our prizes for Jump Rope for Heart fundraising. We had 21 winners of Jump rope prizes and many more winners of Disability Awareness prizes also. Our Big winner was Gavin G. in grade 2 who won a cool scooter for raising money. Our total money raised is the 2nd largest sum ever and it was over $4000 donated to the Heart and Storke Foundation.

Flag Football

Forest Hills is looking to offer a second season of flag football for the middle school. We are looking for interested coaches that would like to donate their time to help teach the game to our players. We have MANY interested students and offered 2 teams last year that competed in the jamboree at season's end. The Jamboree for this school year will be on June 4th and it is a full day on the turf field at Shamrock Park.

Any interested coaches are asked to get in touch with Mr. Tobin or the school at 658-5339 or email directly to chris.tobin@nbed.nb.ca

All equipment and teaching materials will be provided. We are simply looking for bodies to help our students learn and play the game.

Thank you on behalf of YOUR students and Forest Hills School.
