IMPORTANT information re Giant Hogweed and Anaphylaxis

​Information has gone home in our newsletter regarding Giant Hogweed and Anaphylaxis.  It is very important that parents become familiar with both.  Please visit the websites below for more information:

Giant hogweed is a public health hazard in N.B. If a person comes in contact with it, its’ sap has toxins in it that can cause skin inflammation and a rash.  It can cause temporary blindness if the sap comes in contact with the eye.  For more information visit http://www.gnb.ca and type in hogweed in the search engine.
