Your child should have brought home a copy of the Internet Safety Letter outlining what the schools are doing to educate your children on the precautions of using the Internet. Today, a second letter is being sent home. This letter provides suggestions to you the parent as to how to protect your son/daughter from the dangers associated with the Internet.  There are also suggestions at resources to access at no cost to help educate your child.
Internet safety is a very important issue and a worthwhile conversation to have with your son/daughter. Elementary students tend to NOT be aware of the dangers that come with careless Internet usage.
