Wednesday – September 17, 2014
 
 
·         Would the varsity boys soccer team please go to the gym, at break, for a very quick but mandatory meeting.
 
·         The babysitting course begins tomorrow at 2:45 in Room 111.   There are student who have still not returned their registration forms to Ms. Leach.  Please return them this morning during break. 
 
·         There will be NO band today after school
 
·         Badminton club today from 3:00 until 4:30 - all are welcome.
 
·         The varsity girls Soccer team will practice from 5:30 -7:00pm at the Q-Plex.
 
·         There will be a JV girls Soccer tryout today and Friday from 3:00 – 5:00 - the girls can meet in the gym at the end of the day to get ready and hop on the bus. Parents will need to pick up their students from the field.
 
·         Attention all JV boys soccer players - all players are invited back to a final tryout tomorrow (Thursday) from 3:00-5:00 at the Q-plex - if you cannot make it please see Mr. Long.
 
 
·         The No Child Without program through Medic Alert offers free Medic Alert bracelets to students aged 14 years and under. Brochures will be sent to the school in October, however you are able to register now by phone by calling: 1-877-282-5378.
 
·         Attention QMS Cougars!  It’s a new year which means Triple C is looking for new members!  Come check us out in Room 111, on Friday, at noon (bring your lunch) and be part of something BIG! 
 
·         Final note:  Property owners off the Pettingill Road have called to express their concern over skateboarders who are skating down the road without helmets and who are not paying attention to traffic.  If this is you, please do not board without helmets and please do not interfere with the vehicles travelling on the roadways near our school.
 
·         If your parents were unable to attend the Open House last night and they might be interested in volunteering for one or many of the activities at the school, you may pick up a form to take home to them from the office.
