Thursday – September 18, 2014
 
·         The students and staff would like to extend a warm welcome to Diane, our Colombian Teacher, who is with us today and for the next few weeks.  Greet her with a Cougar Grin!
 
·         Babysitting course begins today at 2:45 in Room 211, see you there.
 
·         Attention all JV boys soccer players - all players are invited back to a final tryout today from 3:00-5:00 at the Q-Plex .
 
·         JV Girls Soccer First Cut is posted outside the gym.  Any girls who missed Wednesday’s tryout can come on Friday.
 
·         The Varsity boys soccer team practices from 3:00-5:00 today.
 
·         The Varsity girls soccer team practices from 5:30 -7:00 pm.
 
·         Attention QMS Cougars!  It’s a new year which means Triple C is looking for new members!  Come check us out in Room 111, on Friday, at noon (bring your lunch).
 
·         Final note:  Property owners off the Pettingill Road have called to express their concern over skateboarders who are skating down the road without helmets and who are not paying attention to traffic.  If this is you, please do not board without helmets and please do not interfere with the vehicles travelling on the roadways near our school.
 
·         Job opportunity at QMS! The cafeteria workers are looking for noon hour assistants to help sell milk. Are you interested in helping out? You would be released from class a few minutes early and would also earn a complimentary lunch. You would need to be cooperative, reliable and polite. If you are interested in being part of the Moo Crew, stop by the office and pick up an application. It must be filled out and returned by Wednesday, September 23rd.  Please see Mme Spinks if you have any questions.
 
·         Magazine Campaign Info. for Homeroom Teachers:  Please return student’s magazine sale envelopes with coupons.  Students please fill in your coupons and bring them to the Tech Room, at lunch and exchange them for your little bears!
 
·         Hey Cougars! An update on the magazine campaign from Mr. Robichaud:   I understand that the campaign is going well but we have a long way to go if you really want to see Mr. Nelson in that bear suit! As an incentive to boost sales, Mr. Robichaud has decided that all on-line sales from now until Monday will count as double points for the prize chart! Wowza! So Cougars. Call gramma, ask your bus driver, email crazy Aunt Pearl, just get out there and sell, sell, sell!!! Let’s make sure Mr. Nelson has to wear that bear suit!!!
