There will
be a Girls Varsity Soccer game today after school at Hampton Middle
School. We are looking forward to another great game! Good luck

JV Girls Soccer team had a close game against
Hampton but came up short 2-1. Scoring the goal for QMS was Julia M assisted by Rhys G. Way to go girls! Next game is Thursday September 29th
at 4pm at RNS.
The Varsity
Boys Soccer team will practice from 3-4:30pm.

Today, today, today will be the first rehearsal
for grade 8 band students and the beginning band students who
chose Wednesday as their band day. Looking forward to
seeing you. Rehearsal ends at 4:30pm.
If you have signed up for band and still need to
try the instruments OR just have one or two more to try, please come to the
music room in the second half of lunch today.

Today is Open Drop-In Day in the Wellness Centre.
Any student who would like to visit, have a quiet place to eat lunch,
investigate mental health resources, or have a quick chat with Mr. Stu are very
welcome.
Art
and Tech:
Art and Tech rooms are open during the
second half of lunch today.
Other:
Tomorrow is Orange Shirt Day to
honour the healing journey of residential school survivors. All students and
staff are encouraged to wear an orange shirt to recognize the need for Truth
and Reconciliation. Points will be given for class participation.
The Royal Canadian Sea Cadets will
have an information table set up outside during the second half of lunch today.
Sea Cadets is a civilian program welcoming boys and girls between the ages of
12 and 18. They meet at KVHS on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 pm.
The second gathering of
the Rubik's Cube Club will be in Room 207 with Mrs. Foley on Thursday during
the second half of lunch hour. There was a good turn out last week, but don't
worry if you missed the first meeting, just show up this Thursday with your
cube! The meetings are very casual and student-led with conversations, tips and
tricks. We would love to see some new faces Thursday.
