Congratulations to all students who participated in the Hello/Bonjour project contest from the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages of N.-B. A special congratulations to Greer L-S for participating and winning a personal computer/laptop! Wow! Once again, bravo to everyone who represented our school and celebrated our linguistic diversity.

A note to students who play basketball on the court or another sport outside at lunch. If you are using a ball, please return it to the ball bag. Many balls have not been returned over the past few weeks. We do not have an endless supply of basketballs or soccer balls or any other equipment to refill the bag. If your grade level is on the basketball court, or once the field dries out and reopens, you can bring a ball from home if you want to guarantee you have one.

Athletics:

The Varsity Girls Volleyball team took home their first win against HMS yesterday. They played very well for their first game and showed great school spirit. The Varsity Girls practice from 4:30-6pm tonight.

The Varsity Boys Volleyball team also won against Hampton! The team worked hard at digging the ball and finding open floor. Keep up the great work! The Varsity Boys practice after school from 3-4:30pm.

The JV Boys and JV Girls Volleyball teams travel to Sussex to play at 4pm. Good luck!

Wellness Centre:

PRIDE PassesOn the two ballots drawn today, someone picked things up and another put things down! Thanking a grade 8 student who picked up someone’s snack that had fallen on the floor and recognizing a grade 6 student who is very helpful and put all the chairs down without being asked.
