Music:
Attention
all band students: Beginner Band prep is during period 2 this
morning and Senior Band will meet during period 3. Please get permission
from your teachers before coming down to the Music room.
Beginner Band members: You also have rehearsal today after school until
4:30pm. See you after school!
The Music
room is open today at lunch for practicing.
Wellness:
Grit Group Grade 6 (that’s the students in Cyr/Page/Lamey) will meet today during Period
2 and Grit Group Grade 8 will meet during Period 4. Please head to
the Wellness Centre after you check in with your teacher.
Art:
SENIOR Art & Poster Club meets today in the art room until 4:00.
This is a reminder to the GRADE 6 Art & Poster Club that we will NOT
be meeting tomorrow.
Sports:
Congratulations to
the JV Girls team for being the only team brave enough to play in the
rain yesterday. The girls tied 2-2 against Belleisle. Great job girls! A
reminder of your home game today at 4pm vs. RPS.
The Varsity
Girls travel to Arthur Miller field to play HMMS today for a 4pm game.
Tomorrow,
the Varsity Boys travel to HMS while the JV Boys host RPS.

Cross
Country - There is
one last meet of the year and it is on Tuesday, October 15th in
Saint John. Any runners interested in going to this meet, please pick up
an information sheet from the office.
Intramural
Scooter Hockey tournament and Morning Open Gym– The gym floor is still under repair so there will
be no morning gym or intramurals until the work is complete. We will announce
when gym activities start up again.
Badminton
Club is finished for
the year and tryouts for the Badminton team will begin next Wednesday, Oct. 16
and Friday Oct. 18 - they will run afterschool until 4:30pm.
Other:
Calling all WWE
Wrestling Fans. Please come to Mme Page’s class, tomorrow to talk about the
WWE event coming this weekend. Tomorrow during the second half of lunch in room
205.
The Dungeons
and Dragons Club will be meeting today during the second half of lunch in
Room 106, Mrs. Lord’s classroom. All are welcome.

Passes – A grade 8
student voluntarily swept up after class and another grade 8 student helped
carry in the breakfast program food from the car. Thank you!
