Today is the day!  Concert band members are reminded to come to the music room immediately after school for our first rehearsal of the year!  Band ends at 4:40.

New members are welcome to join the Singing Club tomorrow!  Tomorrow is our first Singing Club rehearsal of the year.  It will end at 4:20.

The following grade 6 students are invited to the music room today to try the instruments at lunch.  Please bring your lunch with you.

Sports: 

The Varsity Boys soccer team will practice from 3:00-4:30 tomorrow (Thursday).

The Varsity Girls soccer tryouts will take place today and Friday from 3-5pm.

The JV Boys soccer tryouts will take place tomorrow from 4:30-6pm and Friday from 5:00-6:30pm.   Please sign up outside the gym.

Badminton club will run on Wednesday and Friday from 3:00-4:30 – all are welcome to attend.

QMS is currently looking for a JV Girls soccer coach – if you are interested please contact the school.

Come check out the GSA club this Friday in Room 106! The GSA is the Gender-Sexuality Alliance. It’s a weekly club open to all students. You'll learn how to create an inclusive school and community, become more knowledgeable about gender and sexuality, and meet lots of smart, fun and open-minded people. This year’s club will have four themes: social, education, activism and support. This Friday, come to ROOM 106 for the GSA’s first SOCIAL week, where you can learn about GSA, play games and win prizes. We look forward to seeing you there!

Applications are now available in the office for Moo Crew – selling milk in the cafeteria during one lunch hour per week. Must be good with mental math and working with money. Calendar Crew – Updating the weekly calendar across from the gym each Friday at lunch. Must have neat printing and creativity. Cougar Stop Manager – Scheduling and working at the school store during noon hours. Must have good organizational skills and be good with money.

Return you picture packages and your student information forms to the office asap.  Vaccination forms are also required asap.​
