​Music:

Grade 6 Band will rehearse today after school from 2:40-4:20. If you know your instrument needs to be fixed or repaired, please see Ms. Hunter during the first half of noon today. 

Grade 7/8 Concert Band will be rehearsing Wednesday after school from 2:40-4:40. Please make sure you have a copy of the music that was passed out last week at rehearsal- if you need a copy, please see Ms. Hunter during the first half of noon. 

Singing Club will be rehearsing Thursday after school from 2:40- 4:40. If you are interested in singing, and haven't joined Singing Club this year, stop by the Music Room Thursday afternoon to see what it's all about! All are welcome. 

Sports: 

From the Art Room…  QMS would like to extend a warm Cougar Welcome to visiting artist, Mr. Darren Emenau.  Darren is a professional artist based in Saint John who creates with clay.  He will be working with Mrs. Stoddart and several of our Grade 6 classes over the next few weeks as our ‘Artist-in-Residence’. 

The Best Buddies activity that was scheduled for period 3 today will be postponed until later this week.

Chess Club after school today in Mr. Crowther's room from 3:00 until 4:30. All students are welcome.

Yearbooks are now on sale! The 2019/2020 edition of the QMS yearbook is now available for pre-orders. Go to the blue Jostens ‘Capture Memories’ link on the QMS homepage (NOT the Cashless Schools link).  You may even personalize your book.  Deadline to order a personalized yearbook is Friday, February 21^st. Cost is $30 for a 56 page, full color, hard cover yearbook. Quantities are limited, don’t miss out.

Attention Staff:  Now that we are in the throes of winter parking, please be mindful of the space that you claim, and that there isn’t more than you need between cars.  With snow removal, parking spots are at a premium!​
