Principal's Message ~ Friday, April 21st, 2017

Forest Hills School

We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities

April 21st, 2017

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

One of our teachers is looking for magazine donations.  If you have old magazines around your house that you feel would be appropriate, please drop them off at the office.  Thank you!

On Thursday, May 4th the PSSCs of the four high schools will be hosting their third and final It Takes A Village to Raise A Teen parent session for the year at Harbour View High.  We have added information to our website.  This is a Youth Anxiety session for parents and the guest speaker is Dr. Daniel Chorney. There will also be a very good mix of professionals from local organizations who provide services for youth who will be on hand before and after to answer any questions specific to access and service.  Some of these include Cdn. Mental Health, Gentle Path, Teen Resource Centre, PEER SJ, LINK Program and ISD.

The school based Heritage Fair will be held on Thursday, April 27th.  Thank you for all of your hard work!

There will be no school for students on Friday, April 28th as staff will be in professional learning sessions.

Please mark your calendars!  The Marsh Creek Cleanup will be on Saturday, May 13th.  This is a fun way to give back to our community and support our PALs at Canaport LNG.  There will be great prizes and a BBQ.

Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe!

Have a nice weekend,

Mrs. Savoie
