Principal's Message ~ Friday, May 26th, 2017

Forest Hills School

We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities

May 26th, 2017

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

For anyone able to attend, FHS will have a team competing tomorrow in the Soap Box Derby.  Go Falcons!

Our Annual FHS Night of the Arts is this Monday, May 29th at 6:00.  Please note the time correction.  Mr. Goguen would ask that performers arrive between 5:15-5:30.  We’re very excited about this fun night and hope to see you there!

If any families still have student wellness surveys that they would like to submit, I will be sending them back on Monday.  Please feel free to send them in Monday morning.  Thank you!

Reminder to parents and guardians of our current Kindergarten students that they will be staying home on Wednesday, May 31st for our K Orientation day.  This is the day where our future K students come to school for the day.  Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience.

Our Home & School is looking for at least 6 to 8 additional volunteers for our Annual Fun Morning on June 22nd.  If you are able to help, please contact the school, 658-5338.

Our “Help Us to Help Them Club” has organized a hat day for Friday June 2nd.  Students are asked to donate $1 to wear their hats for the day and all funds collected will be donated to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

We would ask that elementary students not bring their cell phones to school.  If elementary students are using their phones, parents will be asked to pick them up.  Students and parents are always able to contact each other through the office.  Thank you!

The Grade 8 Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 22nd at 5:15 and the final grade 6-8 dance will be from 6-8PM.

Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe!

Have a nice weekend,

Melissa Savoie
