Principal's Message ~ Friday, February 9th, 2018

Forest Hills School

We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities

February 9th, 2018

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

Thank you to all of our families who were able to join us for our 7th Annual FHS Fitness Night!!  A blast was had by all.  We’d like to give a big thanks to Kari Parsons and Chris Tobin for organizing and to the many parents and community members to volunteered to run stations.  What a great night!

Lindsay Young, grade 3 teacher, and I were honoured to accept a National Inclusive School Award on behalf of all Forest Hills School Staff in Fredericton on Thursday.  Teachers, Custodians, Educational Assistants and Administrative Assistants were nominated by parents in the school for our dedication toward inclusive practices. Though we still have challenges, we are always aspiring to improve and make sure that all of our students belong!

Just a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, February the 19th for Family Day.

Remember Falcons, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe!

Have a nice weekend,

Melissa Savoie

Principal

Forest Hills School
