​Congratulations to UNB Saint John’s 2019 Valedictorian – Min Ji Kim who is a member of the Simonds High Class of 2015.

Min Ji Kim addressed the Class of 2019 as Valedictorian at UNB Saint John’s 45th spring convocation ceremony. She is an honours student graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology-Psychology with a minor in Chemistry and Statistics.

While at UNB Saint John, Min Ji has been a dean’s list student, Learning Community leader, Teaching Assistant and Let’s Talk Science volunteer. She is a SHAD Fellow, Schulich Leader, Vice-President of the Golden Key Society, and a member of the Campus Choir.

In March 2019, Min Ji was recognized by the UNB Associated Alumni with a Graduating Student Leader Award. Throughout her time at UNB Saint John, she has received numerous scholarships and prizes for her strong academic work, including: a Canadian Council for Public Affairs Advancement Scholarship and a NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award.
