Hello! Today is Monday, June 12 and this is Ms. McGrath calling with a few messages for Raiders and their families.
Yearbooks are now on sale for all students in Gr. 6-8. The cost is $20 and can be handed in to your Homeroom Teacher. Yearbooks are delivered on the last week of school. Our yearbooks are totally designed, photographed and created by our students here at RVMS. All profits from the sale of these yearbooks go directly back into supporting student events and activities at RVMS.
On the last day of school, Chef Frank and Mrs. Sawyer have arranged for a pancake breakfast. Tickets are $2 and are available outside the cafeteria at lunch until Tuesday this week.
Our annual Award Ceremony is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, June 22nd. Doors open at 9:00 with the ceremony set to begin at 9:30 sharp.
Grade level teams will also be holding smaller ceremonies in the Theatre over the next two weeks to celebrate classroom Raider achievements.
The last day of school for students is Friday, June 23rd. Students will receive their Report Cards that day and will be dismissed at noon. Report Cards are not available before Friday but can be picked up in the school office on Friday afternoon or on Monday and Tuesday, June 26th and 27th if your child is absent on Friday morning.
Our Gr. 8 students are headed out on their annual Quebec trip on Wednesday. All Gr. 6 & 7 students will have lunch during the early time slot on Weds, Thurs and Fri this week (that is 11:35-12:00).
A copy of the school supply list for next year is attached to the e-mail version of this message and will be posted on our school website. The website is also a great place to find information about our school over the summer months when the office is closed. Go to: rvms.nbed.nb.ca.
