Hello! Today is Tuesday, September 12th and this is Ms. McGrath calling with a few messages for Raiders and their families.
As I mentioned last week, our annual Open House/Meet the Teacher evening is scheduled for this Thursday, September 14th from 6:00-7:00 pm. We also invite families to drop in a little early for some corn on the cob served at our new outdoor classroom behind the school.  The doors on that side of the building will also be open. Please park in front of the school or in one of the parking lots. There is no parking on the sides of the school during school events due to fire regulations.
At 6:00 we will all meet briefly in the Theatre and then proceed upstairs to meet with the Teachers. Your child may also take you on a tour of the building.
Next week, Wednesday, September 20th is a half day for students with all students in ASD-S being dismissed at noon. Students will travel home on their regular after school bus.
I have attached a copy of the new ASAP schedule to the e-mail version of this message and it is also available on our website.
For those students interested in participating in school sports, I have also attached a copy of our Sports Policy and Sport Fee schedule for your information.  This will also be posted on our website.
Later this week, students will be bringing home a brochure with information about the new Report Cards and new grading scale being used by the District this year. This is available on our website as well.
Finally, please remember that students should not be on school property prior to 7:55 each morning and parents cannot enter the area immediately in front of the school during morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up times this is a school bus loading zone and is closed to through traffic.
