Good morning! This is Ms. McGrath calling with a message for all Raiders and their families.
We had a 15 minute Hold & Secure this morning (9:15-9:30). This was for a medical emergency. No students or staff were in danger we simply wanted to provide privacy and manage a medical situation without dealing with class changes or traffic in and out of the office area. The Hold & Secure was lifted and all regular activities resumed.
On another note, RVMS will be joining many other schools in our area in support of the Humboldt Broncos Hockey Team and their families. All staff and students are encouraged to wear sport jerseys to school this Thursday, April 12th. Many students have also been wearing green, the Humboldt Team colour, to show their support and we encourage that as well.
