​This semesters Journalism 120 class has taken a Project Based Learning approach to the course and on day one they began planning and creating an online, mixed media magazine called the Stinger Press. The magazine is a mix of articles, podcasts, videos, and photos that focus on everything ranging from Simonds news, Maritime issues, global affairs and more. Whether it's business, sports, baking, or beauty tips, our goal was to create a magazine with something for everyone that appealed to an audience outside of the school as well.
